Fitness Trainer Tips: All About Posture! Vigilance is Key!

Regardless of whether you are training a beginner or a veteran client, always pay close attention to their squatting patterns, pushing and pulling style, even before picking up a weight! Be vigilant in emphasizing proper poster for maximum benefits!

Other areas include core awareness! Do they know how to brace? If not start with there!

Look at body alignment:

  • Neutral spine
  • Head and neck alignment
  • Foot and knee alignment
  • Shoulder girdle alignment

Spend time teaching these areas which will give your clients instant results and feedback.

Practice the exercises that will enhance these areas. And make them part of your regular routine either as warm ups or exercises.

THT® Goes to the 2011 Vegas Conference

I was recently at a fitness conference always looking for ways to improve our training system at THT®, and 2 things made me reconsider client application.

The First thing: I thought it would be a great way to start the day with the morning yoga class with my wife that was offered by the conference. Things happen when you least expect them I realized from this class that many people could not straighten out there arms and pinch shoulder blades together at the same time not to mention hold their hands over head extended. Balance and foot awareness is highly overlooked. I realized many of my clients have these problems and that a dumbbell is not the solution.

Recommendations:

The 2nd thing: I realized is that the most important thing with training. is something we can't measure. The HUMAN WILL or also known as HEART.
